WHY WE CHOSE THE RAM PROMASTER

Choosing the right van for your living needs is an integral part of the process. It may seem overwhelming at first as there are many options out there. Factors to consider before diving into the research process are:

PRICE POINT: The first and foremost reason we went with a dodge promaster is due to the availability of finding a slightly used van at a fraction of the full price cost. This automatically saved more room in our budget to dedicate for conversion. Our 2019 ram comes with a backup camera which we love and use daily.

SHAPE & SIZE: We got the high roof which comfortably fits Sunny at 6’2. The width is wider than a sprinter and we wanted our bed to sit sideways. Ram Promasters tend to have a more boxy shape making it helpful to get the straight framing needed to start the build. We also liked the size of the 159 wheel base because we can fit in a regular sized parking spot so we don’t feel limited to where we can park.

MAINTENANCE: Simple mechanical design, easy to find parts if needed and can get it serviced anywhere.

OTHER FEATURES: One of the features we love most about the van is it’s turn radius. It’s so easy to comfortably make U-turns and is easy to drive. We also like that we can fill up on gas anywhere.
