We all know our skin gets dried out during the winter season. Here are top rated beauty products I’d recommend using to keep your skin hydrated this winter season!

Step 1: Cleanse

I’ve been using La Roche-Posay makeup remover wipes and face wash for the last year or so and I absolutely love it! It’s dermatologist recommended and great for normal to oily skin types. It not only keeps my skin free of acne but isn’t too expensive and you can purchase at any Walgreens, CVS or Target! I also recommend getting a hand held face scrub to lightly exfoliate dead, dry skin off.

Step 2: Tone

Without fail, every morning and night I spray my face and neck with rose water infused toner. It brightens dull skin, tightens and minimizes enlarged pores and balances your overall complexion. It also smells good and you can use it throughout the day as a refresher.

Step 3: Hydrate

Step 3 is a very important step because moisturizer (lotion) does not actually add more moisture or hydration to your skin, it simply locks in the amount of moisture your skin currently has. So if you’re feeling particularly dry you’ll want to add a hydrating serum or facial oil before your moisturizer. You’ll find this step requires the biggest investment but it’s worth it because this step is dedicated to rejuvenating your skin overnight and you can spend less on the other steps.

Step 4: Moisturize

This is the final step and will lock the moisture in your skin so you can sleep happy at night knowing your skin will look better then the night before.

Your skin care routine can be as long or short as you’re comfortable with. There are always extra things you can do if your skin is really dry like weekly face masks and more. I live by these 4 steps and my skin has never been better.
